Join us October 13th at 6:30pm to celebrate this new Latino cookbook starring abuela cooking, one family-famous recipe at a time, with Kim Caviness, author and co-founder of FamiliaKitchen.com + special guests!

Free to RSVP here!

FamiliaKitchen.com, a leading Latino recipes and food story website is coming to Queens as part of its national book tour to celebrate recipes from all over Latin America. They’re on a mission to gather and preserve how Latinos cook our way home with recipes from the 20 Spanish-speaking places we come from, gracias to abuelas, tias, primos and other family-famous homecooks. Hear about recipes like Dominican cake from Brooklyn, Puerto Rican arroz con pollo, and Colombian arepas!

Author Kim Caviness will read from her cookbook tracing the Indigenous, Spanish and African roots of Latino cuisine and hear (and taste) goodies from homecook and entrepreneur Rosangela Rosario from the legendary Angela’s Dominican Bakery. Come get your new cookbook signed... and maybe even something delicioso to take home!
