Amy Shoenthal is a journalist, author and marketing consultant. Throughout her career, she has worked with some of the world's largest brands and is a top contributor to ForbesWomen and Harvard Business Review, where she shines the spotlight on those who have been historically underestimated yet are doing the work to solve society’s biggest problems.

Amy is also a sought-after speaker, with her first TEDx talk scheduled for this spring and has given keynotes and spoken on panels at conferences such as Social Media Week, Weekend at The Pitch Club, the Mom 2 Summit, and more.

Amy’s first non-fiction book, The Setback Cycle, offers a framework to help people persevere through and triumph over setbacks. She lives in Sunnyside, Queens, with her husband and daughter.


Shana Lebowitz Gaynor worked as a correspondent for Insider where she reported on careers, leadership, and workplace culture.

At Insider, she launched the HR Insider column and explored gender and racial dynamics within the human resources industry, burnout among US workers, among many topics. She is currently a freelance writer and editor, helping design and write activities for developing leaders.

Shana graduated from Brandeis University with a bachelor's degree in English and psychology and received a master's degree in English and comparative literature from Columbia University. She lives with her husband and son in Forest Hills.


Caroline Hroncich is a writer and editor based in New York. Her writing focuses on business topics with a specific focus on careers, HR, leadership, management, and more. Her work has appeared in Business Insider, Reuters, MarketWatch, The Financial Brand, SHRM, Employee Benefit News, Cannabis Wire, Catholic News Service, and Fox. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Villanova University and a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University.
