Join us for an evening with three local authors: Seth Bornstein, Rafael Herrin-Ferri, and Rob MacKay! Rafael, author of All the Queens Houses, will discuss the borough's built environment and how diversity influences our residences; Seth will speak about his novel Swimming to Jerusalem, where Queens is the home to the immigrant protagonist in his story; and Rob, author of Famous People of Queens, will talk about the many famous people that come from Queens.
Seth, Rafael, and Rob will each discuss how their books came to be and how Queens is unique in both real and fictional ways. After their discussion they look forward to an interactive chat with attendees.
THIS IS AN OFFICIAL 2023 BROOKLYN BOOK FESTIVAL BOOKEND EVENT.
Please RSVP here.
